The greenhouse is used to propagate plants for the Humboldt Botanical Gardens Retail Nursery and is currently available for private events. It was donated to the gardens by Sun Valley Group. Recently Mercer-Fraser Company wired the greenhouse with electrical and Northcoast Horticulture Supply donated and installed ventilation fans. As funds are raised, the greenhouse will host a butterfly garden with paved, open spaces that will continue to be available for private events. Please help the garden meet its goal to finish the Sun Valley Greenhouse Butterfly Garden and plan your next event at the Humboldt Botanical Gardens.
